TechMeUp studie & leeflening
Droom je van een carrière in de tech, maar ontbreekt het je aan financiële middelen om een opleiding te volgen of rond te komen tijdens je studie? TechMeUp biedt een unieke kans: een studie- en leeflening zonder rente. Hiermee kun je onbekommerd studeren en jezelf om- of bijscholen naar een (betere) baan in de IT-sector.
Of je nu 25 of 45 bent, TechMeUp maakt tech-opleidingen toegankelijk voor iedereen met de motivatie om de overstap naar IT te maken.
Voor wie is TechMeUp bedoeld?
TechMeUp richt zich op gemotiveerde mensen die zich willen ontwikkelen richting de techsector, maar daarbij financiële steun nodig hebben. Het initiatief is er juist voor degenen die voor andere subsidies buiten de boot vallen en voor wie een opleiding zonder hulp niet haalbaar zou zijn.
Je komt in aanmerking als je:
- Minimaal 18 jaar oud bent
- Minstens één jaar in Nederland woont
- Een geldige verblijfsvergunning hebt
- Zelf niet de financiële middelen hebt om een opleiding te vergoeden, middels (gezamenlijk) inkomen of commerciële lening
- De motivatie hebt om een toekomst in tech op te bouwen
Hoe werkt TechMeUP financiering?
TechMeUp is een stichting die zich inzet om mensen met ambitie en talent een eerlijke kans te geven op een toekomst in de techsector. Door middel van een renteloze studie- en leeflening helpt TechMeUp studenten die zonder financiële ondersteuning geen toegang zouden hebben tot een opleiding.
Wij zijn als partner aangesloten bij TechMeUp en verzorgen de opleidingen en trainingen die studenten klaarstomen voor een duurzame carrière in IT. Samen dragen we bij aan een diverser en inclusiever tech-ecosysteem, waarin talenten uit alle lagen van de samenleving de kans krijgen om zich te ontwikkelen.De vraag naar goed opgeleide IT-professionals blijft groeien. Door onze samenwerking met TechMeUp investeren we direct in het dichten van het tekort aan tech-talent, terwijl studenten worden voorbereid op een toekomstbestendige baan in een kansrijke sector.
In 5 stappen naar een toekomst in tech
1. Aanmelden
Vul het formulier in en deel je schriftelijke motivatie. TechMeUp bekijkt jouw aanmelding zorgvuldig.
2. Kennismaken
Voldoe je aan de voorwaarden? Dan volgt een kennismakingsgesprek om jouw situatie en ambities beter te leren kennen.
3. Studeren
Na toelating tot de opleiding zorgt TechMeUp ervoor dat het afgesproken bedrag op tijd wordt overgemaakt naar jou of direct aan de opleider.
4. Banenjacht
Na het afronden van de opleiding ondersteunt TechMeUp studenten met trainingen en begeleiding bij het vinden van een baan.
5. Terugbetalen
Zodra je werk hebt gevonden, start je met het terugbetalen van de lening. Zonder rente, zonder extra kosten – precies het bedrag dat je hebt ontvangen.

Practical information
Hoe werkt de lening?
TechMeUp verstrekt een rentevrije lening aan studenten die een tech-opleiding volgen en financiële ondersteuning nodig hebben. Dit bedrag kan gebruikt worden voor opleidingskosten of voor het dekken van je vaste lasten tijdens de studie.
Hoe werkt het terugbetalen?
Zodra je een betaalde baan hebt gevonden, betaal je de lening in termijnen terug. Gemiddeld is dit 10% van je bruto salaris per maand. Freelancers maken samen met TechMeUp een passende afspraak over het terug te betalen bedrag per opdracht. De meeste studenten lossen hun lening binnen drie jaar volledig af.

I followed "UX Design with Figma" course at Winc Academy. It's a very well structured course, with lots of theoretical and practical knowledge, (with additional resources to dig deeper) that can be followed at your own pace, whenever you have time or feel like doing it. All Winc Academy students are connected via community app where you can meet people following the same course, help each other, develop together. I am using Figma now on a daily basis, both for work and for my personal use. I can only recommend it!
Agile Project Management, pleasantly digitally managed
Winc has a pleasantly organized portal. The curriculum is also clear, with example cases which makes the theory a bit more light-hearted. The digital system works very well, so I didn't need contact with a 'physical Winc employee'. Strangely enough, I do miss that a bit afterwards. Hence not 5 but 4 stars.
One big communion!
Great curriculum, plenty of level classes, helpful teachers and fellow students. Slack is great for connecting with each other. Constructive criticism is always taken seriously. 1 point for improvement. The time indicated in which you can do a course is the same for a Newby in tech or a student already familiar with programming languages. Half a year of Full Stack development for a Newby is too short. There may be a difference in that. This is especially important for students who are following the course through the UWV, because then time is also of the essence.
Good way to learn programming online
Great to learn programming at your own pace and from home. With lots of great teaching materials and assignments.

Back-End has thus become clearer and even more interesting
Many parts were covered through this course. Working with Python was challenging but the assignments went quickly. It certainly made much of the logic of what Back-End does clearer and even more fascinating.

Upgrading JS skills
For a Front End Developer this course expands your JavaScript skills. You need understanding of coding before entering this course. When you are making the exercises it gives you power to learn more.

For people who don't have time to take a class this is ideal. All courses are in English though so basic English is a must. Too bad it is not indicated anywhere when registering. But everything is self-explanatory! Mentors also always answer your questions. Good luck!

You can quietly study at your own pace online from home or elsewhere, no pressure from Winc. Great help from mentors and fellow students via Slack. + Good teaching materials.

I recently studied Back-end Development from Winc and it was a challenging but fun experience. The exercises and assignments were creative and engaging and provided a great learning opportunity. The mentors were kind and helpful throughout. Would recommend it!
A good course in Cybersecurity for everyone
For me I learned a lot. There are things I didn't know about or didn't understand enough yet. Now I feel like a follow up course Ethical hacker is something that I wanne do or take more follow up steps.

I took the "Data Analytics with Python" course and am very excited about it! Before I started I already had programming experience, but taught this all by myself. Through this course I learned the 'better' methods from experienced programmers. All in all very happy with the course!

Very good and patient mentors who want to help you with everything. It is definitely not an easy course, but that is the intention. And it's healthy to put the brain to work, so should you really choose a different direction in your career don't sit still and sign up for a course at winc academy
Cybersecurity for everyone
This course is a very in-depth look into the working of cyber security. What a person can do to increase his/her/their online security. It will make you see where you need more action. Plus links to valuable sites. I enjoyed this course and have learned a lot.
