Can the UWV help you?
The UWV is one of our most important partners. If you are currently receiving unemployment benefits, there is a possibility that the UWV will fund your entire training. This support is specifically intended for people who want to strengthen their position on the labor market by learning new, relevant skills. The UWV recognizes that IT professionals are badly needed and is therefore happy to invest in your future.
These are the requirements for ESF+
In addition to the UWV, we also work with the ESF+ program (European Social Fund Plus). This European grant is specially designed to help people with a vulnerable labor market position improve their digital skills. If you are unemployed, have recently received benefits, are educated to a maximum MBO-4 level, work for a modest salary or are self-employed with a low hourly rate, you may be eligible for 100% funding through ESF+.
Are you from the Haaglanden region?
For residents of the Haaglanden region, we have an additional opportunity: Haaglanden Leert Door. This regional program offers financial support for taking an IT course and is specifically aimed at strengthening the local labor market. If you live or work in this region, this is definitely worth investigating.
Even if you don't directly qualify for these schemes, there are other options. Many employers have a training budget available for their employees. In addition, you can often deduct the cost of your IT course from your taxes as a study expense. Will I receive a certificate upon completion?

I can only recommend it!
I followed "UX Design with Figma" course at Winc Academy. It's a very well structured course, with lots of theoretical and practical knowledge, (with additional resources to dig deeper) that can be followed at your own pace, whenever you have time or feel like doing it. All Winc Academy students are connected via community app where you can meet people following the same course, help each other, develop together. I am using Figma now on a daily basis, both for work and for my personal use. I can only recommend it!
Agile Project Management, pleasantly digitally managed
Winc has a pleasantly organized portal. The curriculum is also clear, with example cases which makes the theory a bit more light-hearted. The digital system works very well, so I didn't need contact with a 'physical Winc employee'. Strangely enough, I do miss that a bit afterwards. Hence not 5 but 4 stars.
One big communion!
Great curriculum, plenty of level classes, helpful teachers and fellow students. Slack is great for connecting with each other. Constructive criticism is always taken seriously. 1 point for improvement. The time indicated in which you can do a course is the same for a Newby in tech or a student already familiar with programming languages. Half a year of Full Stack development for a Newby is too short. There may be a difference in that. This is especially important for students who are following the course through the UWV, because then time is also of the essence.

Many parts were covered through this course. Working with Python was challenging but the assignments went quickly. It certainly made much of the logic of what Back-End does clearer and even more fascinating.

For a Front End Developer this course expands your JavaScript skills. You need understanding of coding before entering this course. When you are making the exercises it gives you power to learn more.

For people who don't have time to take a class this is ideal. All courses are in English though so basic English is a must. Too bad it is not indicated anywhere when registering. But everything is self-explanatory! Mentors also always answer your questions. Good luck!

I recently studied Back-end Development from Winc and it was a challenging but fun experience. The exercises and assignments were creative and engaging and provided a great learning opportunity. The mentors were kind and helpful throughout. Would recommend it!
A good course in Cybersecurity for everyone
For me I learned a lot. There are things I didn't know about or didn't understand enough yet. Now I feel like a follow up course Ethical hacker is something that I wanne do or take more follow up steps.

I took the "Data Analytics with Python" course and am very excited about it! Before I started I already had programming experience, but taught this all by myself. Through this course I learned the 'better' methods from experienced programmers. All in all very happy with the course!
